He spent almost two damn years overhauling his huge ass mods to try to refine them and make them more palatable to his audience in response to feedback.

The reboot for Rigmor of Cyrodiil also addressed the issues some people had with the story and the nature of the relationship with the Dragonborn. He just spent almost two years putting out massive overhauls for both RoB and RoC that took out many lines and scenes and then added new dialogue, characters, locations, scenes, and made Rigmor’s character a bit more mature and reasonable in the first mod, and did a lot of bugfixing. He HAS changed many lines among other things. I would like to draw your attention to the recent Nexodus as an example of dramatic self-importance and entitlement lol.Īlso that’s not remotely true at all my friend, about him not making changes.

Not changing cringey lines or some story item has nothing to do with being an entitled mod author, they aren’t related at all.

The mod author is a fucking artist and I’ll die on that hill. I love the mods and the characters and their lengthy monologues and quirky idiosyncrasies and the creative liberties taken with the lore and the world.

Constructive criticism is one thing, but the hateful vitriol about FREE CONTENT always just blows my mind. He’s just a guy having fun and sharing his fun with other people for fucking free, he’s not one of those entitled mod authors who think they are God’s gift to the community, and then people bash him like he owes them something. And he reads many of those posts and told me once how disheartening it is. He’s an amateur writer and mod author in this endeavor and yet he creates projects and breathes life into stories of such magnitude primarily all on his own.Īnd then people get on here on Reddit and trash him and his work, calling him a pervert, trash, his work is awful. He works an unrewarding retail job and then dedicates the majority of his free time and vacations (he always calls them “Rigmorcations” because he works tirelessly and without being paid to deliver to his fans) to working on the story and the mods and he is constantly engaging with fans and including them and other amazing creators in his process. The gentleman who makes the Rigmor mods is one of the sweetest and most creative human beings I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with.
